SUMMARY
A private household located in Outremont, Montreal, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to support the ongoing care and maintenance of a private residence, as well as performing the various laundry duties, including ironing and steaming. This opportunity is ideal for a housekeeping professional accustomed to working in high-end residential environments where discretion, organization, and standards are essential.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and smooth day-to-day operation of the home while working independently and with professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform detailed housekeeping throughout the residence.
- Clean and maintain bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
- Make beds and change linens.
- Complete laundry, ironing, steaming, folding, and wardrobe care.
- Organize closets, storage areas, and household spaces.
- Monitor household supplies and advise when replenishment is required.
- Care for fine furnishings, delicate surfaces, and household finishes using appropriate methods.
- Maintain the residence in a guest-ready condition at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Previous professional housekeeping experience required.
- Experience working in high-end private households is essential.
- Strong knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, garment care, and household organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining elevated standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities efficiently.
- Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of confidentiality.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Location: Outremont, Montreal, Quebec
- Position Type: Permanent Part-Time
- Schedule: Monday and Thursday – 16 hours per week
- Monday: 8 hours
- Thursday: 8 hours
- Start Date: August 2026
- Compensation: Competitive compensation offered based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
