children. Their role consists mostly on providing nursing and instruction
in every aspects of formal education.

  • Takes care of children.
  • Provides a fun and stimulating environment and organizes activities.
  • Ensures that children’s bedrooms and play areas are safe.
  • Bathes, feeds and dresses babies and children.
  • Responsible for meal preparation, light housekeeping and children’s
    laundry.
  • Chauffeuring duties (e.g. to/from school, activities, appointments).
  • Often travel with the family.
  • Report directly to the employer.

Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000+

The Nanny

Similar to the English Nanny/Governess, the Nanny’s prime responsibilities
are to care for children’s wellbeing and development.

  • Takes care of babies and children.
  • Provides a fun and stimulating environment and organizes activities.
  • Ensures that children’s bedrooms and play areas are safe.
  • Bathes, feeds and dresses babies and children.
  • Responsible for meal preparation, light housekeeping and children’s
    laundry.
  • Chauffeuring duties (e.g. to/from school, activities, appointments).
  • Often travel with the family.
  • Report to the House Manager, Executive Assistant or directly to the
    employer.

Salary range: $60,000 to $90,000+

The Tutor

WHAT IS A TUTOR?
